I can see your point, but I have serious conversations much less often than casual, often humorous ones. Plus, at least (most of) these contain my name, so it's not a "funny" random thing like LlamaSpaghettios (which was one of my friends' screen names for a while, true story).

I agree with those statements, I think. However, I have a friend named Zander, and his screen name is ZandMasterFlash (or at least it used to be). I think the pun makes it totally acceptable. Mine would just be kind of arbitrary.
