Rodney was reading the latest article in Advanced Studies in Theoretical Physics (and happily denying that anything unusual had happened over the weekend), when he got an email from his little sister. He opened it without thinking there'd be anything out of the ordinary inside.

"Something wrong with your computer?" Sokka asked. That was a much safer topic than "so, how was your weekend?"

Rodney gulped. "No, no, computer's fine," he assured. "I just got an email from my sister and she's being silly," he added with an unconvincing laugh.

...Darn it. There wasn't much of a way to reply to that without referencing the weekend, because he couldn't remember if Rodney ACTUALLY had a sister.

"What?" Rodney was also not willing to acknowledge the weekend. "Jeannie's my only sister."
