Can someone explain where people get their userpics? Because it says 100x100 pixels, and all my pictures that I want to use are far far bigger than that. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can get them on various icon comms on LJ...if you want one for a particular fandom/celeb/stock/pretty much anything. Or if you have a photo you want to specifically use that is too large, go to picmonkey.com & upload the pic...it's very user-friendly & allows you to crop the photo, resize it to 100x100, pretty up the colors, etc. Let me know if you want/need any help! :)

Okay, two great communities for icons are timepunching & re-cycled . & also ladygagafans . Users make the icons at a 100x100 size already, its just a matter of wading through for the ones you like
