I love this! It's so wonderfully sweet and I could really imagine the moment as though I was there. The characterization was really well done. For me, even just ending it with the "'Shush,' Remus insists" line would have worked really well, because this is such a good snapshot of a particular moment that it doesn't really need an omniscient narrator to say everything you wrote in the final paragraph--the dialogue before says it all. This is a really beautiful piece! Great job!
