Yeah, I know it's several months later and Obama won and all, but I still feel like I owe you folks a few quick and dirty critical assessments of all the Horrorshow films. I'll try to get them all done by month's end. It keeps me sharp.

I am pretty sure I saw an influence for Lynch in that movie too. Not as much as Bergman's films, but definitely an important one for him.

Here's a guy who could also be an inspiration for the Mystery Man. I read somewhere that Lawrence Chenault wore face paint as seen here during his vaudevillian days and when he went into movies he continued to wear it. I get the feeling that the Mystery Man is also using face paint for filming purposes.

On further reading I found that Chenault was a light skinned African American.
