You may laugh, but I've already heard that argument relayed in full fervent honesty. See, there has to be some reason why so many evangelicals are voting for Obama, so it's obviously to set off Armageddon. I give Mississippi and Alabama a week before we start seeing all of the goofballs giving away their stuff in anticipation of the Rapture...and there's no way in hell that I'm giving it back.

Of course, you ever consider that the Rapture is just a worldwide version of the efforts to get the Puritans to leave England? I don't know about you, but a global event that takes away every sanctimonious asshole that tells me that being Catholic is even worse than being a non-Christian is a reason for celebration. You mean that we get a world where I'm not stuck behind some loser doing 40 mph in the fast lane in a car held together with "In Case of Rapture, This Car Will Be Unmanned" bumper stickers?
