Seasons 1 and 2 of How I Met Your Mother (assuming here that you haven't checked this show out, yet).

I am not a sitcom person. But this show I recommend, to people I know have discerning, "would normally spurn sitcoms" tastes.

All I recommend is you give it the first four episodes to find its legs, and then it's running at a decent clip to have you hooked.
