So it was Hotaru all along! *gasp* Poor Chibi Usa. But I'm glad that the girls were worried about Ami, even if they overreacted, it just means they care. :)

Yeah, this was a continuation from the Secret in Silence. And technically, Chibi Usa could have warned "Uncle Zoi."

I think it's equal parts they care and they were excited for her and got a bit over exuberant.

I like the structure of the fic, and the boys' and the girls' reaction to the date. But I'm afraid I'm too tired too catch on, why did Hotaru rat them out? I feel so silly for not getting it, which is absolutely to blame on lack of sleep.

Just the concept that grabbed me with the Secret prompt was of the Senshi of Silence not being able to keep a secret, so in Betrayal I was able to close tie the two episodes together.

She's a teenager. And despite being a little more (ok, a LOT more) mature because of being the Senshi of Destruction, she's still a teenager. I don't think she /meant/ to tell, it just happened.
