Christmas Movie Season has been replaced by Extended Oscar Season

I was thinking the other day, with the releases of Harry Potter and Star Trek pushed back to next year, there really isn't much in the way of big movies being released this Christmas. There's Bond, and the remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still (on my god that looks like it will suck), and a CGI Disney movie, and that's about it for big ( Read more... )

Actually I heard they are re-releasing Dark Knight in January to give it a good Oscar chance. Perhaps I'll be able actually catch that time around!

Hmm I'll have to look into. I've sort of been hoping it would leave so that it would go into our cheap/dollar theater

To call Spirit sin city 1.5 is kinda blasphemy towards will eisner... Its based on a much older comic with much better art and concept.

I would have thought filming it as Sin City 1.5 was the blasphemy. I haven't seen the book myself, but I'm going to assume this "much better art" doesn't look exactly like Sin City.
