I have tortured the muscles in my arms, shoulders and back, and I've probably bruised my hands, all in the name of home renovation. I hope never again to apply a layer of paint to a ceiling of my place's size until Alzheimer's kicks in (at which point I shall also be putting my slippers in the freezer and calling everyone I meet "Henry ( Read more... )

Urgh. You have my sympathy. One trauma cleaning job I did was a fire-damaged house-- most of it involved cleaning soot off everything.

Including a very long hallway's ceiling. Ow.

My lack of faith (literally) is not helping me understand what days things are open.

Are supermarkets open tomorrow?

Some should be, at least. I think Good Friday and Anzac Day are pretty much those everything is shut (even the freaking Zoo) days. Well, barring the cinemas. But Christmas and the other Easter holidays and New Years' and stuff, the larger/extended hours supermarkets tend to be open for at least some of the day. (Sometimes they open later in the day, though.)
