I do have a decent amount of Irish blood in me, moreso when I was running ahead, pushing rocks out of the way of your hyper-fast car.
I was upbeat about the situation after I had the camera back in my hands. Beforehand I was all about working out how much a new camera was gonna cost me, and all those lost photos.
Ah, you got my crazy logged-in-under-my-other-account comment. Ah well, I guess my secret is revealed. Can I charge you to keep it to yourself? I enjoy the anonymity of my other journal. BTW camping is not my thing, I think I'll leave it to the Real Men :)
Well, it was more "sitting round the campfire on chairs for an afternoon" than "sleeping with the bugs and the bats all week". I totally think you could have handled it.
Loverly photographying, sir. It's hard enough to take a bad picture of our beautiful landscape, but that swanky camera of yours seems to make it impossible to do so!
I hope you wrapped it in a blanket and rocked it back and forth after that scary little adventure!
i can relate to that sick feeling, since i lost my digital recently. now i have my new baby, i'm terrified of losing it. i have a bad habit of losing, well, everything...
Glad to hear you got yours back safe and kept the others entertained in the process. perfect. :)

It was quite dramatic, in my little car, racing up that mountainside :)
Oh, and for the record, you were quite upbeat about the whole situation!
