It's truly epic with the battle scenes and the gladiatorial combat. It distilled the whole film into just over 4 minutes of pure adrenalin.

Now not only do I have to be jealous of your mad editing skills but also of the fact that you've visited the Coliseum. Oi! :D

The Coliseum is indeed amazing - if a person could only go to one other place in the world, then I would always recommend going to Rome. Such an incredible city! St Peters Basillica was also equally breathtaking.

Popping in to say great vid!! I love both songs (have plans to vid the Globus version of the second) and I thought you did a great job of blending the action with cues in the music. There was also some interesting use of light and great connections too, like at 1:57.

Cool Coliseum pics! Love the last one. ;)

Aww thanks DC! I thought you might have enjoyed this one, if only for hearing that Spiderman 2 trailer track. :) It just seemed to fit Gladiator like a glove - like it could have been part of the soundtrack.

Awesome vid! I grabbed the HQ version. Love your use of effects and they way you cut the action to fit the music.

I try not to go overboard in my vids effects wise, but the last section of Lacrimosa was just calling out for some heavy effects!
