Brief update

One of my cats decided to use my bed as a scratching post this morning around 5am. Unfortunately, my feet were at the end of the bed, so I awoke by being punctured (and with a start, which certainly didn't help). I tried to go back to sleep, but slept poorly because my foot hurt (from about five claw-sized holes in it), and I had weird dreams ( Read more... )

This week may just be a week for cat misbehavior.

Our cat Sugar, who never used to step on computer keyboards, has started to do so. Eric has been attempting to discourage her from this practice. Today, while he was attempting to shove her off the keyboard of his laptop, she applied her claws to stabilize herself. As a result, two keycaps (and the teesy springs underneath them) flew off in various directions. Eric had find them and then replace them (to the accompaniment of much swearing, I'm told).

I look forward to seeing your garage-theater. Perhaps when Eric and I come out for Linucon.... :-)

Well, it was still dark, so I couldn't see which one did it. I have a sneaking suspicion it was the very cat who's in my lap at the moment (Taura)...

The bottom of my foot has a couple of angry-looking holes, though. It looks like I was attacked by some sort of weird fetishistic vampire. (I just said that in person, and newfern said "hey, I read that book!".

(you should close your parenthesis) here let me help you )

Okay now, about the discussion earlier re: acoustics. I forgot to mention one of the most important things. Make the rear wall disappear. Absorption, absorption, absorption. That goes for the ceiling at the rear wall too since your floor will be up by errm, 2ft at that point?

I am sorry you have holy feets. Now you cannot walk on water. :-(

Keep an eye on them, too. Cats have lots of germs. :-P
