The call went well. I've got my fingers crossed and am knocking on wood and all that. It sounds like this might be a toe-hold on that 'walk the earth, like kane from kung-fu' lifestyle I've always wanted.

i'd cross the fingers on both hands, but then I couldn't type anything.

I've got a phone-call in forty five minutes about this union job. This is moving really fast. I hope that's a good sign.

I sent in the initial application for the union organizer job. I'm also getting together some stuff to apply for an internship at a weekly newspaper, because, well, why not.

Poetry reading last night was a success. Somehow managed to sleep through my classes this morning and woke up at about 1 in the afternoon. Which is weird, because I was in bed well before 5 a.m., which should have let me wake up by 8 no problem. This is possibly yet another sign of the fact that I'm getting older. As my graduation from the University of Washington rapidly approaches, I find myself overtaken by the burbling stomach acid that is my body telling me how much I hate looking for work.
