i.e. the Gaiman episode coming up in a week and a bit.

With a character called Idris.

The clue's in her name, innit?

Ya think? ;)

I suspect that the brief clip for the season preview that shows the 2005-09 Tardis interior is from this episode.

I'd completely forgotten about that! Heh. Yes, indeed :-)

*hopes to see crazy fake-looking Davison-era console room too*

i was thinking of the letters making up her name. Those letters make up the majority of another Who word that fits quite well as the answer to "Who is the Doctor's wife?"

I'm just a bit bemused that I haven't seen the net full of "IT IS SO OBVIOUS!" comments; instead, heaps of speculation.

Fascinating. It's at times like this that I'm pleased my love with Dr Who did not bloom into comprehensive knowledge. Instead, I'll just think about possible anagrams for the next couple of weeks.

Oh, and if you rewatch the first Matt Smith episode, at the point at the end where Amy goes into the TARDIS for the first time, there is totally a Silent hanging from the ceiling there. (Watch Amy's reactions closely.)

Moffatt is a clever bastard. Clever, clever, story-telling-technique rejuvenating, multi-layered-story arc creating bastard.
