A moving experience

I've just got back from Homebase. I was looking at some tiles for my new 'gaff'. I'm not sure whether to go with blue-with-a-hint-of-turquoise, or turquoise-with-a-hint-of-blue.

The final decision may well depend on how well they go with my eyes.

I'm also wondering if a musical doorbell that plays 'Frere Jacques' might be a bit too lower-middle

The Wakefield Xylophone Society? I didn't know you were a fan. I'm partial to the work of the Chorley Glockenspiel Choir myself.

Ah, yes, they're rather good. Did you catch their live performance from Bolton's Royal Albert Halls on Chorley FM the other week?

No, I missed it unfortunately. Did you tape it?

I shall certainly mull that suggestion over.

'Frere Jacques?' Good lord! I'd much rater have it play something from Les Miserables. And the book is twice as lovely as the musical!

It would be better than Boz's doorbell, which plays the 1812 Overture.

Then I am awfully glad nobody pays any calls on him! I would hate to have peoples poor ears be violated in such a rude manner!

See now why I stopped wearing the hearing-aid?
