the animal question... ive been thinking about it for a quite a bit now, and im not sure. i know it would be an animal that can and does explore, it is docile yet very protective of its own. not very skittish, but not brazen either. what keeps coming to mind is an owl or another bird. i guess it seems you explore what most dont (toxicoligy) whereas a bird flys

ive actually been thinking owl a bit lately (along with skunk and panther). i saw a great horned owl perched on top of a building walking home from lab about a week ago. i know most people have more than one totem. there is often one constant and others that can last for variable amounts of time. i was just curious the input some of my friends would have.
A very disjointed reply at 6 in the morning.enzieJanuary 17 2005, 12:04:39 UTC
suibhne_geilt had a writing contest a while back where everyone wrote a store beginning with the line, "In the year 2054 we autoclave our lovers...". Autoclaves amuse me.
I'd be up for giving you a ride to club if I'm going, no strings attached. Pay me in a cigarette or something. I live downtown and until last spring I was in the same situation using the bus to get out to the club. 'Twas teh suck.
Chris Columbus suuuuuuucks. I was talking about him with a friend tonight and we decided to IMDB him. Turn out he's directing the film adaptation of Rent. Not that I'm a huge fan, but yuck. I can't think of anyone less appropriate. Cuaron did a much better job with the third movie. I still have a hard time believing that he's the same guy who made Y tu Mama Tambien too. Unless of course there was some sort of weird Harry/Hermionie/Dumbledore orgy going on behind closed doors or soemthing that I didn't notice...
The very dear to my heart, bloodlossgirl will be DJing at the females and flesh hooks night. I'm excited for it.
hehehe... you said monkeymr_monkeeJanuary 18 2005, 04:30:33 UTC
i love monkeys, but i just dont see myself as one (i was somewhat disappointed when i came to that conclusion). mr. monkee comes from the chinese zodiac (1980 is the year of the monkey) and monkeys are just inherently amusing. i completely cant see columbus doing rent. no doubt it will be a very awkward thing most likely of the disaster variety. cuaron. i didnt see a lot of connection between y tu mama tambien and azkaban except for the themes of growing up. i thought the ron/hermione adolescent awkwardness was a lot more apparent in their relationship. on the whole i thought he made the movie a lot more adult. the characters were more three dimensional. as for the club, i would very much appreciate a ride. the bus does suck as does a cab home. im reallyu looking forward to the suspension thing at the end of the month. ive been to one suspension and one pull so far and had a great time at both. thank you tons for the offer, djarum blacks okay? ^_^
