Thanks to 'a certain person' ms_spider_web and I managed to get tickets to the U2 concert in march.

These old fans from way back in the day have reached 'Defcon Stupid' as a certain pink haired Austrlian lass would say.

lucky! I was pretty excited to hear they were coming back.

The thing that gets me is that they sold out in under 90 minutes, or so the news is reporting. 50,000 goddamn tickets!

But yeah, I love all of their old stuff and even like Actung Baby, then they released a few less than pleasing albums, but I rather like How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb.

I kinda want to go just to see 'The Greatest Rock Gig On Earth'.

they do do a good show but its a bit bloated now, if you know what i mean.

I saw them the last time they came here and i was recently given the u2 go home dvd. I see they're doing another show too.

That depends, the cheap ones were $100 (the ones we went for) up to about $200. Now you can get them off Trade Me for $1500 each!

Motorhead was $70. Its getting more expensive to go to gigs these days!

Yeah same here, we also heard that the $200 tix weren't really worth the extra but we might need to take catheters! ;)
