Aah..um..whoever gave me this snow angel costume..? Th..thank you, it's really pretty. And..and I match Maka! I'm not sure if..she likes it as much though..

And also, um..thank you, Maka's papa..for the paper and pens!

[Nill turned her head to look back, and then ended up blushing darkly herself. A lot of people have been saying that about her lately. She... really wasn't sure how to take it.]

[Turning on her feet, she walked over to Chrona and held out the bundled-up jacket for her to take. With one hand, she tried to point down at it, trying to show her that there was something covered up inside.]

[ She couldn't help the smile on her face growing just a little to Nill's blush, tilting her head and wondering what she was thinking. When was offered the jacket, followed Nill's pointing hand, then gently reached to unwrap the jacket. ]

Ah..ohh it's..it's so pretty..

[ Chrona carefully pulled the scarf out, admiring it with a very happy smile. ]

[She was excited to watch Chrona unwrap that jacket around her gift, clasping her hands together in front of her.

When Nill heard her friend say how pretty it was, she let a short and mute giggle pass her lips, while her cheeks were still rosy. She wasn't good at sewing, and some of the stitching was a bit crooked in a few places; but the girl worked hard on it.

Silently, she stepped toward her friend, and gently pulled the scarf out of her hands. Then she carefully looped it around Chrona's neck, before stepping back and giving a happy nod of approval.]

[ Chrona didn't mind the crooked stitches, and hardly noticed past the lovely first view of the gift. It just looked so nice!

She had smiled happily as let Nill take the scarf and look it around her neck, reaching to lightly touch it. To the nod of approval, Chrona stroked the scarf warmly, absolute delight on her face. ]

I..I love it, thank you Nill..!

[Now Nill was positively beaming. Chrona really loved her gift! It was one that she meant to give to her friend for awhile now. ...She almost doubted that she would have been able to after the Meister disappeared from the city before.

The winged girl reached out, and gently took one of Chrona's hands. She turned it so that the palm faced up, and then pressed one of her fingers on it, tracing a phrase out letter by letter. It was a slow process, but in the end it spelled out a simple message.

'Merry Christmas, Chrona.']

[ Chrona blinked when one of her hands was taken, and patiently waited once she realized Nill was spelling a message. Her eyes moved a little as was reading letter by letter, and when Nill finished, Chrona was smiling again. ]

M..Merry Christmas, Nill..thank you so much..

[ She thought for a moment, pondering what she should do, before timidly opening her arms and moving in for a shy awkward hug. While Chrona normally wouldn't hug people, she wants to give something in return, and a hug seems the right choice! ]

[Finished with her writing, Nill looked up with a smile as she continued to gently hold onto Chrona's hand. She nodded to her thanks, and let out another short, mute giggle when the Meister returned her Christmas greeting.

Then she blinked once that hand slipped away, looking up and trying to figure out why. Oh! She saw that Chrona had her arms open, and was moving in for a hug, and the winged girl knew exactly what she was doing.

Bringing her own two arms up, she leaned forward and wrapped them around her friend, tucking her head against her shoulder. Nill almost forgot how tall she was compared to her. It was warm, and soft... A feeling that made her blush for how much she missed it.]

[ Chrona felt awkward at first, not used to doing the hugging herself, but slowly relaxed in the warm of the hug, arms curling gently around Nill. She couldn't help a quiet blush, and tears welling up in her eyes. ]

[Nill looked up, careful not to bump Chrona in the chin by accident, when she could hear a bit of sniffling from those happy tears. There was a small flash of worry in her eyes, but then she relaxed once she heard her friend speak.

Pulling one of her arms back around, she gave the edge of her sleeve a light pull and used it to dab at one of Chrona's eyes.

[Nill shook her head slowly. She wasn't worried about that. But at the same time, she didn't mind that Chrona stopped her. It was a sweet gesture.

She looked satisfied once she knew that her friend was okay.]

[Nill thought for a moment. The only birthday that she had was the one that Ness had given to her... So...

With a small smile, she brought Chrona's hand down slowly and wrote 'June 2' over her open palm.]
