I'm sorry. You'll be fine. I think it is important to keep in mind that as a lab animal vet you will have oodles and oodles of discretionary time (more than with many professions) to pursue all of your interests. Okay, I wouldn't find what I just said reassuring if I were you. Who wants to hear that their actions will pay off in six years? At least there is a payoff, eh?
