I know how to ballroom dance, Shiraishi. Grandmother insisted upon it. Not the same as club dancing but I do feel quite competent in a number of dances including waltz, foxtrot, samba, tango, and the like.

If you're willing to help me out, then I greatly appreciate it. I hope you're a lot better at ballroom dancing than Kenya was when he started to learn. I've never had anyone step on my feet so many times during one dance... I'm not really that partial to ballroom dancing myself but it isn't so bad if you have a good partner to dance with.

If I may be so critical - Kenya is about as graceful as a bull in a china closet. Always has been and I should know - he was my first dance partner when we were very small but gave up because it "wasn't any fun". I'm not surprised my dear cousin didn't mention it to you.

I would me happy to help if you would like. It isn't my preferred type of dance either but it can be quite pleasing if you find someone you feel comfortable with and who isn't stepping on your toes every other beat.

*laughs* Yeah, he never really mentioned anything but demanded that I help him practice even though at the time I knew next to nothing about how to dance. He was definitely worse than I was. But he did always mumble about "damned tensai" or something along those lines.

Great! My teacher decided to take it up a notch and said that we'd get extra points if "modernize" it a bit. I don't have any ideas at the moment though, but when are you free so that we could meet up?
