I should be updating my own translation links in the master post but orz I feel so lazy.
Happy New Year to all!
Many many thanks to the people at Kamiki's Baidu thread! Chinese translation here. And you can find the bigger scans here too in case you didn't know.

Disclaimer: Kindly read with a pinch of salt. Capable translators, please step up? T_T
I tend to translate too liberally at times, and too literally other times. As said earlier, pinch of salt is necessary.

2011。10。12 TVガイド Kudo Kankuro & Kamiki Ryunosuke

Kudo
The cast is exactly like how I imagined it to be (laughs)

Kamiki
There are parts which are similar to my own family

Questions regarding family

Q: Favourite dish made by your mom?

Kudo: Tororo gohan (rice with grated yam)
In Miyagi Prefecture, the method of making is to add in a large amount of soup while grating the yam, creating loose and smooth tororo. But when I want to eat this dish and go back (to his hometown), it's always other dishes that are served (laughs)

Kamiki: Suiton (dumpling soup)
I like suiton the best. In our house, we use flour to make it into the shape of dango and put it in miso soup. I do not really like to eat porridge, so this is what I eat when I have fever.

Q: If you have 8 siblings, which one would you want to be?
Kudo: Six or seventh
Never thought about this... if going by this drama, being one of the twins is not bad. Having someone identical to yourself seems interesting.

Kamiki: Third
I can use what the elder brothers had used before, there is no pressure unlike the eldest son, and I will not be as spoiled as the last child. The position is just right.

Q: A family drama that left the biggest impression?
Kudo: Ikenaka Genta 80 kilo (first aired in 1980)
The "Ikenaka Genta 80 kilo" series starring Nishida Toshiyuki. A father who raised 3 daughters with no blood relation to him, that is not a normal setting. I really like this work.

Kamiki: Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari (first aired in 1990, ended 2011)
The first one that comes to mind is still the "Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari" series. It makes people feel that there are really different types of people in the world. Seems like it's a synonym for family drama.

Kudo Kankuro's new work is a comedy drama that describes an impoverished large family with 10 people, with a ghost coming in between. Creating a drama with "family" as the setting, what do you want to convey to the viewers?

Kudo: From young I've wanted a large family, my family is considered small. I'm interested in situations like "I don't want to share a room with my brother".
Kamiki: I really understand how you feel! The age gap between my sister and I is very big too, when I became older and sensible it seems like everyone around me is an adult. Really envy friends who have older brothers close to their age, they can play and fight together.
Kudo: My sisters are older than me by 14 years and 9 years, we are quite alike (laughs). Hope that this time the lively and noisy atmosphere that we yearn for can be expressed.
Kamiki: When I read the script, I naturally start to feel the warmth of family. Even though the number of people are different, my family is similar to Sanada.
Kudo: Eh? For example?
Kamiki: At home there will always be someone talking, relationship with father etc. But in real life I am the optimistic type, completely different from the drama.
Kudo: Wished that this time Kamiki-kun act as the eldest son who is impatient to his happy-go-lucky father. Carrying the burden of all the family's problems, easily vexed and angered type. Seems like the cast is exactly like how I imagined it to be (laughs)
Kamiki: Kazuo always gives his best. Even though he wants to keep going on ahead, he will unwittingly go off course.
Kudo: And even though he suffers each time, the people around him don't seem to notice. But I feel that although everyone do what they like, they still remain connected, and that is proably what a family is.
Kamiki: Even if they don't specially encourage each other, a family is still family. It's like this!

Lol you two, having to fight over rooms is no fun when you are really in that situation. I don't know the story Ikenaka Genta 80 kilo, but judging from KudoKan's description I guess we can see part of his inspiration for the Sanada family :D
