Thanks for the detailed info. I think Fina's statement is still outstanding, right? I will feel more comfortable after FINA confirming that no action need to be will be taken against Phelps.

Subway? Any chance that they may reconsider Phelps'endorsement? When the Subway deal was announced, they emphasized on advocating healthy & active lifestyle for kids. If their TV ad is focused on that theme, they may not want to show it while the Bong issue is still hot.

LOL, it's a t-shirt from David and Goliath...

It's been a very strange weekend, now I dreamt of Michael Schumacher this morning instead of Phelps... so maybe time to take the carrotz away and do something new... for a little while.

I confess. I actually dreamt last week that you, Sassy, Holly were in town and you all stayed at my place for the weekend. NO idea why you all were in little Salem, Oregon but there you have it. I remember we laughed a lot...LOL

Yeah, never a big fan of Shoemaker but I used to follow F1 for 10 years... I have prints of F1 cars and drivers on the wall, making Milky jealous all the time... :p

I just realised I got 3 framed prints and 2 postcards and both the drivers retired some years ago... I guess swimming is such a minor sport in UK that I got nothing to put up...

Apart from the carrotz, Phelpsy clearly knows how much I enjoy watching him by the starting block... and that's the "version" of him we like, agree?

Call me having a heart of stone but I think Milky deserves most of it. Bouncing back or not, depends on his long term behaviour. I, for one, will keep an eye on him beyond his "next" statement/appearance/appologize. I am not angry, sad or even disappointing... the feeling is "odd"...

Bunny, I am with you. This is exactly what I think. 23 isn't really that young especially for one who have travelled a lot, met people, already in business world, so to speak. I hope he wouldn't say anything like he looks forward to be back to a routine (this was what he said in 04 after DUI), sounding as if without a routine set for him, he will mess up.

With regard to his buddies, I think one of them in Beijing was also with him in Miami. But those buddies may have a job and can't hanging around with MP all the time while he was having the longest vacation. Bowman also once said something like MP needs to make his own decisons, learn his lessons as a result of those decisions, sometime learn it in a hard way.
