I think I love this post. I'm aware that I'm commenting out of the blue here but I followed a fic of yours here last night (over on ca_atlast which I need to feed because GAH) and found this.
I agree with so much of what you said and it makes me miss my OTP like you would not believe. *le sigh* Lovely. And a perfect re-visitation. =)
