On place I should like to see

Reminder: Party at my place this Saturday from about 19:00 onwards. If you like, bring delicious food to share with everyone! If you don't know the address, you need but ask.

Thirty five days until I fly out... Reality hasn't quite hit me, yet.

Places I should like to visit while I'm over there:

I passed on Brussels, because of advice I got while in Brugges (Bruge?) (which I also REALLY liked), and went to Antwerp instead. I =really= liked Antwerp (plus, there is this really nice organic cafe on the west end, not too far from the underwater pedestrian tunnel). If you haven't been to Antwerp, I recommend it. Take the free walking tour too, quite interesting.

Brussels is awesome, and I suspect that the rest of Belgium is awesome as well. Ghent has a city-wide vegetarian day once a week! Spend a day just wandering through the city - you will find all sorts of weird and interesting things going on. Belgium (at least the Flemish region) has one of the best backpacker-oriented tourist offices in Europe as well.

Yeah, but only if I can resist eating Krakowurst.

Please bear in mind that I will only be able to afford to stay in backpacker hostels :-P
