"So. I had a good time tonight." Parker opened the door to her suite, and leaned against it. "Thanks for dinner."

"You're welcome," Seely replied. "Thank you for being such charming company."

"I don't get that compliment a lot," Parker admitted, smiling slightly. "And I had a lot more fun on this date, than I probably will on the kiss-off date I have to go on on Sunday."

"Kiss date?" Seely deliberately misheard and leant in closer to Parker. "Dunno, that could be a lot of fun."

Parker found herself grinning, more amused than aroused, but definitely not backing away. "Not for him. For you? Could be. Maybe. Possibly. Hmmmmm..."

Sometime after Seely departed, Weiss knocked on Parker's door.

Parker had been staring out the window, so she just absently called, "C'mon in, Weiss," before opening her carton of cigarettes, and contemplating one.

Weiss came on in. "Is it going to do me any good to say that that's a really bad idea," he said, pointing at the carton.

[mparkerceo]

"Take them away from me." Parker held them out to him, not looking, her expression conflicted. "I don't want them, I'm just wired."
