Parker put the phone back in the cradle after the phone call to Angel, then flopped back onto her comforter. "God. He makes me want to find Seely Booth and hit him again." She hung her head off the end of her bed, and gave Isabel a weary glance. "I'm not wrong, am I? He is being a complete dumbass?"

"He's not thinking," Isabel said, settling down in the bean bag. "Or if he is, he's not thinking with the right head. And god, that's a mental image I didn't need."

"Soft-headed soft-hearted savior-complex-hobbled estupido," Parker muttered. "And I didn't need that image either, thanks." She shook her head dolefully, rubbing at her eyes. "I get why he let her stay, but...."

"But having the battle trained ex-girlfriend staying in the same place as his man crush is tempting fate in the worst way," she nodded.

"Exactly." Parker half-smiled at Isabel. "I *am* glad Cal's not in Greece. Maybe we should leave her a message on Angel's voicemail, so she knows we're glad she didn't go back. But I wish to hell she'd gone anywhere else. And that Angel didn't think it was his duty to save everyone looking for it."

Bridge is walking down the hall back to his room when he passes by Parker's open door.

Parker took a break from glaring at the floor, randomly, to glare at the door, randomly, then brightened. "Hey, Bridge. Wait up, c'mon in. News!"

There was the briefest flash of hope that *maybe* she'd heard from Xander, or something. Yeah, it didn't make much sense, but for that one second, he still hoped, before realising that couldn't possibly be it.

"News?" he repeats, pausing in the hall and turns back towards Parker.

"Cal's not in Greece. She's in L.A., with Angel." Parker got off her bed, and walked over to grab Bridge's hand, swinging it back and forth. "So she's safe, at least for now."
