Christmas morning in Hong Kong; Parker was contemplating the length of pink pearls her father had given her, and checking portals to Fandom at irregular intervals.
And now, she's diving onto the phone. "Yes? And? Hello?"

"It's over," Isabel said, getting to the important stuff first. "The soul's back and Angel's disappeared, I assume settling in for a world class brood."

"You're sure? Someone checked?" Parker asked, relaxing for the first time in days. "No one else got hurt, no one tried to hurt him? And yeah, hi, merry Christmas. It's already morning here."

"I'm not a hundred percent sure, but I can't see them letting him go with out it," Isabel told her. "As for people getting hurt? There was a steady stream of visitors to the jail. So you tell me." She was pretty sure that since Parker knew Angelus, she'd know exactly what Isabel meant.
"It's still Monday here. So things are still a bit chaotic. But it should settle down soon."

"Good." Parker grimaced. "Well, as good as it could be, under the circumstances. I get the urge to poke that guy with a stick, but I don't imagine the damage all went one way." She shook her head. "How's everything else?"

"Wyatt brought me out here last night," Isabel smiled. "Then hung out long enough to charm my folks, and spend some time hanging out with Max and Michel before leaving to spend the holiday with his parents. But he'll be back on Tuesday so that'll be nice."
There was a particularly loud "Dammit Maria stop peeking!" and Isabel rolled her eyes. "Right now they guys are trying to wrap presents with Maria's help. Which means she's trying to peek and see what Michael got her."

"Did they give him a bad time? I would've paid money to see that," Parker mourned. She snickered at the voices in the background, and said, "It's one more day, she can't wait 24 hours?"
Re: Christmas Eve Afternoon in RoswellizzyalienqueenDecember 26 2007, 15:42:36 UTC
"Not too bad, just a few hair comments. I think they see that I'm happy so they're not being super obnoxious." Isabel grinned, "Besides, mom would yell."

Parker snorted, then grinned, relaxing a little. "Reminds me that I need to talk to him when I see him again," she said vaguely. "Daddy and I are having a really productive and nice holiday, aside from me checking Portalocity every five minutes. At least I can quit doing that now."
Re: Christmas Eve Afternoon in RoswellmparkerceoDecember 26 2007, 20:31:48 UTC
"No, no," Parker soothed her. "Would I scare him off when he's making you so happy? Of course not. There's just things that have to be said, that's all. It's pro forma. Don't worry about it." She sighed and settled back into the couch. "Okay. That's the plan, then. Maybe I should call Angel, see if he hasn't found a cave in the desert to hide in."

"Which means I might as well throw a bottle with a note stuck in it through a portal, for all the good it will do." Angel's inability to adapt to modern technology was occasionally amusing, but more often Parker looked on it as a passive-aggressive attempt to avoid her. Well, fine. She'd show up in person. That would teach him. "If Logan's being equally incommunicado, we'll have to do something. We should probably give it until after New Year's for him to recover, though." Her voice softened. "I keep thinking of how he was the first time, and hoping this is better. I hope."
