That probably sounded extra-odd in a pissed-off baritone.
"Oh, it hit you, too, then?" said the distinctly female voice on the other end of the phone. Between the caller ID and the equally distinct Irish accent, Parker could probably assume a) who was calling, and b) what had happened to him.
"Like the fist of an angry God. Who has no reason to be mad at me this week, by the way," Parker clarified. Then grinned. "How are you enjoying your side of the mirror?"
