MONTREAL - Maxime Bernier had visions of replacing Stephen Harper as Conservative leader and also asked that confidential government documents be tossed in the garbage, Julie Couillard says in a new tell-all book about the ex-foreign affairs minister.
Couillard also says in the about-to-be-released "My Story" that:
-Bernier was relieved he was going out with Couillard because he hadn't had a girlfriend in two years and because some of his political colleagues thought he was gay as he was friends with an openly gay fellow cabinet minister.
