WHY IS 300 SO SHORT??

it sounds so reasonable just looking at it and then I go to write something and it's TWICE that. ahhhh what is wrong with me lol

LOL! I know! Wait until you get to the true drabbles! I remember the first week in the ass_ldws, I just wrote without keeping track of the word count then, half way through what I'd planned, I checked and it was already over 400 words! It was a really good lesson in making every word count as I do tend to embelish. :)

Oh, God. Time zones are my enemy! dogsunderfoot is in Pensylvannia. I'm basing it on her time zone (Sunday 7pm at her place is 9am Monday morning in Australia). Um, does that help at all?

Honestly? I can't write a drabble to save my life.

Well, I can, but not without blood, sweat, tears... and a lot of swearing. :)

RIGHT? I was like "oh, this is a good premise for something that's really short, it doesn't take too long to get to the point," and I STILL couldn't get it all in and had to shift around. I'm going to have to start getting cleverer on this shit if I pass the first round, because if it's even SHORTER than this...
