YET... with a decent version, I would include Home Run Inn Pizza to be one of the more unique pizzas in Chicagoland, and would definitely include it on my "Top 7 Pizzas You Have To Try Before You Leave" tour. I have never tasted a crust even close to this kind anywhere else. They really do have a unique dough recipe.
With this particular frozen pizza, every one I've ever had always resulted in totally uneven cooking. So to fix this:
Before the cheese on the edge starts turning brown & drying up, pull the pizza out of the oven. Cut into slices. Put finger in the middle of the pizza, it's most likely still cool. Put slice(s) on a plate and pop it in the mircowave on high for 30 to 50 seconds. This will heat up and cook whatever cool cheese is left, and it won't burn or dry out the rest of the pizza.
