MPizza 11/22/08 Homemade Deep Dish Pizza
Homemade deep dish pizza. crunchy top crust, corndusted soft and soft lower crust - bulky in the edges, thin in the middle. There is no tomato sauce on this, but chopped canned seasoned tomatoes w/ salt and spices, basil, fennel seeds, parmesan cheese, onion powder, mozzarella cheese, sauteed button mushrooms buried along with the cooked pork sausage (which that was removed). Very moist, but as always, too salty. The crust is always cut off from the pizza and eaten as a bread stick along with the thicker, cheesier portions of the pizza.
