Six movies this past month. We've got three more months to go before the year's end, and I seriously doubt The Fountain, Little Children and The Science Of Sleep (three of my most anticipated movies coming out this fall) will hit screens here before the end of the year, so let's see where the ranking goes. Woah, you're better than the newspapers or movie critics... I think just by reading your blog, I get to know abt the good shows and how not to waste money on bad shows... and know more about artsy-shows, haha.

And *squee*! U liked tony takitani too! They included one last scene which wasn't inside the novel (did you read the book?) but I thought that was rather nice too.

Have you watched 'Sex and the Philosophy'? I couldn't stop laughing and was out of the cinema by the first 30 mins. I haven't seen most of the shows on your movie-ranking list but I thought 'Thank You For Smoking' was really quite sad, for me at least.

Aw, thanks! I used to write lengthier posts on individual movies, but ever since I did this monthly lookback thing, I just tend to save it for the end of the month.

Actually, I didn't like Tony Takitani. I haven't read the book, and I thought the movie was overly slow, and a wee bit pretentious. But I have to give credit where it's due - it looked awesome in terms of art direction.

I haven't watched that movie, but the last movie in which I really wanted to walk out of was "The Piano Teacher".

And haha, are you going to add me at some point? :)

Aw, I thought you like Tony Takitani. The book is definitely better... I guess the director was trying to follow to the original (story), perhaps.

Welll... my blog is really quite silly and childish, so Im not sure its to your liking or not.

I've seen worse Jap films though. They tend to be really warped most of the time.

That's alright, no problem!
