1. Playing in a show is ridiculous. The surge of adrenaline produces an absurd bravery on the stage-- I had the nearly irresistible urge to wink at our audience. And I am not a good winker.

RIP KANT
At about 3 15 in the afternoon, Kant the Turtle was found to have passed away. He was small in life and even smaller in death, his tiny, soft limbs limp and yielding. May he be remembered as an exceptionally nice and resilient turtle who never fought his brother for food and liked to sunbathe.
Enjoy turtle heaven, little Kant. -
