I sold my condo and the deal finalized about a month ago. I traveled twice this month, more than I’ve done in the last few years combined. I paid off debts. I relaxed for a solid month. I bought myself some nice souvenirs on my trips. I turned 30. All in all, July was amazing

1. How is it that the carpet is always ugly and needs to be removed or replaced?

2. That must be one seriously ugly tree.

the carpet is easily older than me. but the floors underneath are pristine. and the tree is a leaning dying pine that's blocking all the light into the front picture window and threatens the neighbor's big front porch. i'd love to replace it with a little dogwood or miniature maple.
