Tonight was fun at work. While standing outside, trying to lure customers into our restaurant after all the theatre shows get out, a fire truck drove slowly down the street. hehe, aww, that story about the firemen is cute. and i didn't know the dora awards were even open to laypeople - that's kind of awesome. i'm sure i would turn into such an embarrassing fangirl in that situation, though - pointing, screaming, possibly fainting. it wouldn't be pretty. =)

Yeah, those firemen were one of the highlights of my night, that's for sure! :)

Yes, I actually just found out this year that the Dora Awards are open to anyone. It's at the Winter Garden theatre this year and they were advertising tickets. I really wanted to go. Maybe next year I will for sure, even if I have to go all by myself. Oh, and they were also selling tickets to the afterparty, so I think a certain number of the public can buy tickets for that too.

LOL! You wouldn't be alone in possibly making a scene, though. I'm sure I would be overly excited as well. Although I met some of the cast of "The Lord of the Rings" and I was strangely calm and was able to speak coherently to them, so I could manage to restrain myself. ;)
