It's actually not a doujinshi but an official work. It ran in Magazine Z until it ceased publication and it continues to run in another magazine that I've forgotten the name of under the title 'Shin Kamen Rider Spirits' of which this is the first compiled volume. The first parts of Shin are a flashback and the rest is will continue where volume 16 of Spirits left off. The first 7 volumes may be found in the link provided in the journal post.

It's a great intro to the Showa Kamen Riders, and a great supplement when watching the shows themselves as it tied them all together and fills in the back story and gaps missing in the original series. Which when you are writing a continuation of a series 40 years after it aired to have it fit this well is quite an acheivement.

If you have not seen some of the shows this is referencing, may I recommend you take a look over here?

I actually know about Kamen Rider since long ago and always wanted to see it, so I'm really happy to check out the link you gave me here!

I'm a great fan from Sinichi Ishihara, I love to hear him sing so with that I came to know the series Kamen Rider and got some clue about it, it's a lucky coincidence for me that the chance to watch it now came through this 1st chapter of Shin Kamen Rider Spirits, thank you that you picked it up!!!!!
