So, today was Zero's recheck at Rochester vet. For those of you who haven't been keeping up, Zero is the sick rat at PETCO that I wanted to adopt. He had a massive abscess on the back of his tongue and couldn't groom, so he required baths every day, which he loved after a while ( Read more... )

He poops because he's full of love. And in rats, love comes out as poop...nah, I dunno why he did that. At least he didn't poop down someone's bra like that chinchilla...

True enough. Noa will be my friend, once he calms down and stops having great flaming conniptions whenever he sees me. It's great that he's responsive toward me and doesn't utterly hate me, but I can't work with him when he's spinning around me like sugared-up ADD that has ADHD and ants in its pants.

I still need to visit you. And Sid. Way overdue.

I know about Zero...but I don't remember you telling me he had to be put down. Last I knew he just had the oral issue going on with the prescribed shampoo.

Ah, gotcha.
He was put down on Thursday. I hadn't talked to you until today, so I suppose it wasn't worth an entire phone call just to tell you that.:)
