Couldn't resist reading this after seeing the movie about 5 hours ago.

Definitely caught the suspense and overall feeling of the movie (I didn't end up reading the book). I had wondered what would happen if a tribute and a mentor would have feelings for each other, with the mentor pretty much being the only person the tribute relies on during the days leading up to the tournament.

Is is wrong for me to want more of this? I really loved it!

The movie is so good but I do prefer the book just a bit more lol. I almost made Jensen another tribute, but then I felt like it would have been too complicated b/c they couldn't be from the same district since they are both boys. So then I thought at least the mentor would be someone he could go home with afterwards lol.

Thank you so much sweetie! And yeah...I'm seriously debating about adding more to this lol. I thought I'd just want to do the one shot and be done but now I want to start from the beginning and then go from there lol.

I recognised it as the hunter games after having seen adverts for the films. And my friend really likes the books and I fist saw the ad for the film when I was with him and he spent the whole ad whispering to me about how awesome the books are and how he can't wait to see the film. But I haven't read the books yet or seen the film. But I did understand what was going on from what my friend told me. Anywho, that was probably too much information.... But I have a habit of babbling... And I'm pretty sure you don't mind :P

Anyway... I really liked this! I want to go read the book and see the film now! But now it won't be as awesome cus it won't end in J2! :P x

Your friend sounds like mine lol. She was into the books for awhile now and got me into them. Both the book and the movie are absolutely fantastic! My little attempt in this fic pales so much in comparison lol.

Eek! Just finished the first book. Loved it!!!! I really want to see the film now!! (I wanted to read the book before watching the film)

I've ordered the the other two books and I can't wait for them to get here so I can read them! :) I have exams coming up but all I want to do is read the trilogy!! :P

I know right?!? Wait til you get to the end of the second one. I wanted to scream! But I did like it, and you get to meet another character who I'm starting to consider one of my favorites, up there with Peeta at least :D. Can't wait to see what you think of those! I'm hoping to read the last one this week so I can be finished.

Don't feel bad...I always seem to start series during finals weeks *head desk*. Last year it was Mortal Instruments (which had 3 books and 1 in the sister series at the time) and now it's Hunger Games.

I haven't read the books or seen the film but I thought its written by you so I have to have a read. Poor Jared he went through a lot but with Jensen by his side I am sure things will get better.

Yeah, the Hunger Games are pretty brutal on the tributes. The books/film are great though :). Thank you hun!
