I found this article online tonight (see below), and after completing it was suddenly relieved, as it articulates so wonderfully, better than my previous attempts, finally, one of the bigger issues I've been having with societal knowledge in general (which, yes, includes me) since about January/February. wow... interesting! it sort of implies that there's something deeper going on that most people don't grasp and, in fact, don't even sense.

yay a comment! yeah, i agree with you. i put myself in the category of people that don't quite grasp the "deeper something." i've always been jealous of great writers, philosophers, composers, etc., because they are literally coming up with all these great ideas from scracth, while the rest of us just kind of copy and study what they do. it seems like you don't quite get a feel for the importance of the ideas when you don't discover them for yourself, but just know them and take them for granted. hopefully one day we'll both have the oppurtunity to be an innovator in SOMETHING! or, if not an innovator, than the second best thing: an expert of the innovation. :-)
