Yeah, while I overall feel like these fights aren't THAT impressive or much to look forward to, considering how easily the Strawhats have been smacking them around so far, it's still somehow... symbolic of something when everyone splits up to have their own mini-boss fight. Usopp didn't get one in CP9 because he wasn't really properly a Strawhat back then, but beyond that example everyone is just supposed to have their own/a tag-team fight.
