But how do you tell them that you want to go to Johto without actually saying it?

Before I became gymleader, I traveled through Canto, Johto and the orange islands. I was kind of... angry at my sister's when I left, so I didn't really think twice about telling them. I jut said I was going to be a Pokemon master, and left.
