The fact that she'd gotten a call about Wade worried Aly. That it was Roy who made the call? That made made it a bit worse. She opened the door to his and Arashi's house without even thinking of knocking and made her way through the house, looking around quietly for some sign of him.

Wade wasn't crying. No, he hadn't done that since he was a teenager. Not since that night in the bar with his dad.

He was simply sitting in the same position, staring up at the ceiling, silently asking why.

She didn't let her shock show when she found him and she didn't say a word as she sat down next to him. What exactly was she going to say anyway? Even if she did talk, he probably wasn't going to listen. She reached to put her hand on his shoulder.

He started, jerking away once he felt her touch. Hadn't heard her come in.

That was bad. She could have been anyone. Could have been a student or... Arashi. God, he couldn't let Arashi see him now.
