How camp is Holmes's outfit? My goodness, no wonder the younger generation don't take Holmes and Watson seriously.

Poor Watson, it appears he really does have a weight problem.

Omigosh, Mary is... a Mary I think! He & Holmes might be better suited to each other in this one. And I can only imagine how drunk Peter O'Toole would be on a job like this...

I tell you, he was not nearly as drunk as I would have had to have been to enjoy this one. I do love the man. I think my young mind slashed Peter O'Toole and Richard Harris before I knew what slash was. Sadly O'Toole has had some "work" done recently that just looks terrible on him. I loved all the lines of his face. :sigh:

Your Mary theory is great! I might have like the toon better if I'd thought of that. I always think of her as the dutiful beard in the stories.

You know, there is only one thing which makes me glad Jeremy Brett is no longer with us: the thought of him being asked to voice the villain in some crap Disney cartoon.
