I'm going to be 30 in nine days. It's kind of nice that my birthday coincides with the beginning of a new year (give or take a few days), because it allows me to take the opportunity to look back over any given year and associate it with the age I was all year long. Apart from this morning, which I spent sprinting for the bus, I usually like to walk in a leisurely fashion to the bus stop, taking in the scenery. The Five Year Plan is looking a little shaky tonight. I did some very inexpert number crunching, and the numbers are depressing.
