Bell did pretty much the exact same thing to me - I moved, switch to Videotron, and kept my cell phone with them but cancelled my residential phone and Internet service. Returned the modem and everything. Then I blindly assumed that the invoice they were sending me every month was for the cell phone, the same one I see when I look on-line. Turns out, no, it was - wait, you know what? This is really complicated, because it involves several Bell departments miscommunicating with each other while my credit card expired and started rejecting their preauthorized debits ( ... )

You'd think that two years of gainful employment would cancel out a year of unemployment, but you'd be wrong.

Ayup. We're still working on paying off debt from the year and some that Rich was unemployed/underemployed, and then my school expenses on top of that. Long hard roads they are, but I refuse to give up on the light at the end of the tunnel.

Like all things, this too shall pass. {{massivesquishyhugs}}

Don't worry. Plan your debt-diet, including some room for emergencies and get started. It gets easier as you go along.

By the way, you actually know someone that works at Videotron: ME.

(Not that it actually helps that much but if you need someone to help you destroy Bell and beat up some people... I haven't lost any weight since we last saw each other! :o)

But, seriously, if you need a helping hand or an ear to listen... I am available to help, as always.
