So I haven't been into the vodka, but it looks like I have. After two very unpleasant bouts of vertigo/puking/badness in the past five days, pdaughter was kind enough to accompany me to the clinic after she dropped off Bean at daycare ( Read more... )

No, it really isn't. Sunday was really bad (like, lying down for six hours in a dark room because even moving my arm made me so dizzy I'd throw up), but I've had a low-grade vertigo thing going on ever since then, and it sucks.

*hugs back*

I am so sorry, Lady. I was dizzy for a year- minus the puking badness- and it is SO not fun! I wish you a speedy recovery!!!

Oh, ick. A year? I've been told this should go away within a week and it feels way too long.

This whole not-being-able-to-stand-up thing really blows.

Mine wasn't NEARLY as severe as yours. It was an inner ear infection. Turns out when the liquid in your inner ear drains out, it takes FOREVER to refill it!

Still sounds vastly unpleasant. At least for now the meds seem to be helping quite a bit with the symptoms. You're all better now, I take it?

Horrible! I had labyrinthitis once, and it's No Fun At All. Hoping you are fully recovered real soon.

Ugh, poor you. I can only imagine how awful that was.

I'm really looking forward to being able to stand up and be an independent person again. :P

The medication is helping a lot, though I still get the occasional bout of dizziness and/or queasiness. I can only imagine what I'd be like without it. :P

It's very frustrating not being able to do anything at all, though.

And yes! Ohai! I keep raving about your garden(s) to pdaughter. At one point if you're up for it I shall bring her down (with Bean) so I can show them to her in person!
