Oooooh, she's SO CUTE!!! We should introcude her to Louie, so they can be friends!!! So glad you found one!

We've crate trained both of our boys too. We had an easier time with Charlie than with Louie.
One thing I was told was thjs... your puppy can only hold their bladded the number of hours that they are months old. So, if she's two months old, she can only hold it two hours. I recommend training her with a puppy pad. Get her familiar with that. Pups aren't supposed to mess in their cage, but sometimes they just do. So if I were you, I'd put a puppy pad (or newspaper) in half of the crate, and in the other half, put a blanket or towel for her to cuddle up in ( ... )

The only problem with coming home on lunch is that its a midnight...greg works midnights and I'm not living there yet..so its the middle of the night that I'm worried about...oh well, we'll get through it..Ive been sleeping there the past few nights. It just gets hard because none of my stuff is there and I keep having to drive home to get my change of clothes for work in the morning!! But then I cuddle up in bed with her and its worth it..lol. How long did it take you to crate train Louie since they are about the same age? Does he have accident in his cage?

He barked a bit at first, but after the first night, he was fine. Charlie had no problems with it at all.
And really, since Greg works midnights, I think it's fine that she's alone in the crate then. You don't want her to get in the habit of going out in the middle of the night, because that won't be the norm once she is older. So yes, I would just keep her sleeping. Both my pups don't mess in the cage during the night.
Occasionally Charlie will mess in his crate. Louie does more so than Charlie, because he doens't like to be cooped up. He'll throw little tantrums and throw his blankets/toys/puppy pad around.

And yes, cuddling with puppies in bed is the best!
