I was wondering if Audrey has a friend called Darke Shadoe? I once used to write letters with her (D. Shadoe aka Denise), she lived in Covina and her best friend was Audrey. So i'm wondering if your Audrey is the same person as Shadoe's Audrey? I lost touch with Shadoe when i came to Seattle and didn't bring my notebook with her new address in it. Anyhow, just curious...
I am very shocked to hear that. Denise and i sometimes used to talk on the phone. The last time i was in touch with Denise was about 6 months before i came to Seattle. We weren't writing at that point because there was something with her hand/arm injury or operation that was needed and thus preventing her from being able to write, so we spoke on the phone now and then instead. According to Audrey, I believe she said it was March 15th, 2003. I don't know what happened to her children; I'll ask Audrey (or you can just add her on LJ "audryna"). Yes, very sad. Audrey has been through some really tough times with Denise dying, Rozz dying, her father dying, etc...that's alot of death in a young lady's life to deal with. Fortunately, Audrey has a nice husband (Garrett) and her loving animal kingdom to keep her sane.
